Magpie Diaries tell a story via some kind of smooth, soul country, inspired by analogue folk rock sounds of the 60s and 70s.

Magpie Diaries was born in 2008 as a small songwriting project created by Magpie to help with the grieving loss of a close friend. This solo songwriting project soon became a band which eventually went on to release an EP in 2015 followed by an album in 2018.

Magpie Diaries is very much a dedicated vocation and a release mechanism for a captive, powerful heart.
